For a festive time, we made a little surprise.

We would like to introduce a new nicer and simpler way to create accounts and import contacts.

Enter the data, then by using a tab key or simply click on another login’s boxes and that’s all, on right side you should see how your contacts show up on the list.

Also you can only close window after successfully filling in the data and  accounts will be created and contacts imported.

On the tokonda desktop have appeared two new icons. One of them it directs you to the Snake game. Tokonda team is very sentimental that is way it has been chosen old classic version of this game And we also challenge you to beat the highest score on snake’s board.

The second new icon, after clicking will provide you to settings your TOK2me – tokonda messenger widget. It allows you to put on your website tokonda messenger.  Anyone who is on the page, can immediately write a message to the website owner. To  make TOK2me looks nicely on the chosen site, you can choose the color border and the possibility of entering proper welcome text  and of course a nickname under which the TOK2me owner will appear on the site. Another option is the possibility to disable / enable TOK2me it at any time without a pressure to close or change a status of the messenger when we don’t wont to be seen.

During changes, the code is generated and once you have configured your TOK2me, you can select the code in the box and put it on your website. It may be present such as this:

Yesterday’s tokonda release enriched also of a new option, namely autostatus. Default, this functionality works in such a way that after 5 minutes of inactivity is detected by tokonda and automatically changes its status to all accounts from available to busy. If on  one account the status was set previously to busy, invisible or not available,  in such accounts the status will be not changing . Functionality of this, you can configure in the messenger’s settings tab.

Tokonda has been enriched by a long-awaited program TOKinfo. It is a small application that runs under Windows, which is designed to notify user about coming messages. The program can be found on our home page on the menu at the top. Its operation is simple. Firstly we need to log into tokonda website. Then run TOKinfo, give the username and password and click OK.
At this point, the program connects to our account on tokonda and will check if new messages show up. The program will inform us of new message by special balloon (in which you can double-click) and a blinking icon.

TOKinfo does not require installation, so we can download it, use it and when done, simply remove it (useful if you do not want anyone to see that you have used it.) But remember that when you use the additional features, which run at startup, remember passwords or give a proxy server then the program will save this information on your computer.

We also encourage you to click a right mouse button on TOKinfo icon in the taskbar (tray icon). In this way you can access to the program menu, which allows log in, log out, change settings or disable the program.
Special news for Linux users – you can try to start the pre-TOKinfo under Wine. The program should work, but instead the functionality of balloons will be flashing icon in the tray.

Second new tokonda feature is ‘memo’, in real world called yellow cards

For those who use to write notes and stick it to a board, in tokonda you can also do it by ‘memo’.
Click on it and place your yellow card anywhere you like (of course on tokonda desktop ).
Each card will be seen on the desktop until you remove it by clicking on the cross (it appears when you hover on a card).

We decided to normalize protocol icons , introducing an uniform color versions for all states.
For example, the offline status in each protocol is represented by a red icon,the invisibility by gray, the occupancy by an icon with a cloud, and the availability by a nice color version of the icon of the communicator.

Good news also for Gtalk users. Now you can login using any other domain than only gmail.com

We have removed the unneeded scrolls, which appeared in Chrome and Safari, and improved Tokonda look on these browsers.

A few suggestions from some users persuade us, to change the availability contact icons. In present version a contact on the list have status icon compatible with the messenger used by him/her.

In addition, the configurator has been streamlined, and for users who loged  in demo mode we added register icon on the desktop.

A Safari users should also be glad with the new version, because we have removed the problem of displaying Tokonda in the latest version of the browser.

This version brings quite a lot of changes. The most striking change is certainly the appearance of the home page. We hope You will like the new look.

Beyond the purely visual changes, the new version brings two major changes to functionality. We introduced a new standard of chat with a possibility to put the LIVE-AVATARS.
During chat just click on the camera symbol (at the bottom of the window next to the emoticon), and allow application to use the camera, to start the system LIVE-AVATARS in talk. From that moment every time you press Enter the system will send an emoticon with the current expression of our face as the picture next to the current your text.

The conversation in this way can be carried using as well Gadu-Gadu.

The second important change, is the new way to log into Facebook. Unfortunately, due to changes in the protocol handler, facebook accounts was disabled and need to be reconfigured, with one important note:
In the login box, enter the USERNAME of the Facebook.
If you hadn’t configured in the Facebook an username, you can set it after logging in at this address:
http://www.facebook.com/username

In addition, we introduced in this version a few minor adjustments according to your suggestions such as deleting history.

You have long contacts list and You just want to find a specified contact, so start writing the name (being on the list) and your contacts list will gonna short just to the name that You are looking for. It can be seen how it looks on the picture below.

We’ve also added new feature:  number of contacts in the groups (number of invisible/all contacts), but first to see that You need to go to the option of groups and mark checkbox ’show number of contacts in groups’.

New Release come with a long-awaited changes. Starting from the biggest feature, namely MSN and Facebook protocols.

As for other changes that some of them can be seen directly and others are hidden deep into the kernel and ensure Tokonda stability. Further description will begin precisely from these changes invisible for the eye. We were written those parts that support the individual messengers. Now Tokonda works stable and each of the servers that support it can hold several times more users than the previous version.
But going back to visible things. After logging, it shows up new icon named ‘aplications’. It’s an operating mechanism for the various additional applications. At the moment it’s supports only Twitter but farther will shows up other aplications.

Twitter’s settings should not cause anyone trouble, just enter Your username and password to the site and to determine whether twitter will be automatically login after the entrance to Tokonda.

This however, not all changes in the current release.

Sudoku Game has been streamlined. We changed entering numbers from the keypad on choosing them by the mouse. Now Sudoku looks similar to the paper Sudoku version, for example we added possibility to save sugestions of the numbers. When the mouse hovers over an empty field, it will be divided into 9 parts with all the possible numbers and you can select those that fit you as proposals to be inserted. After being sure that the number should already be in this place, just click twice on it and it will change into a large font.
